Has anyone reviewed the stats on the usage of Chrome? It has surpassed IE,
right there with Firefox, Firefox is losing ground, Safari has a small % of
the market

+ Chrome has a large apps marketplace.

Having to use other browsers when I need Snagit's autoscroll feature in a
major nuisance.

I concur, this is needed for Chrome. Switching back to Firefox just to capture a scrolling window makes my screenshots inconsistent - how FF renders parts of a page can differ from how Chrome looks.

I have good news! Support for scrolling capture in Google Chrome has been added to our new release, Snagit on Mac 2.0!

Like Firefox, scrolling capture in Google Chrome is available as full page capture only.

How do I upgrade to Snagit on Mac 2.0?

It's easy! If you already own a copy of Snagit on your computer, simply start it up and select "Check for updates" from the Snagit menu. Snagit will automatically find and install the latest version of Snagit after you click through the prompts.
