Camtasia Relay 4.0.1
We just released version 4.0.1 for Camtasia Relay. This was targeted as a maintenance release to address a few issues we discovered, but in the process were able to add some nice new features to the software. These features include an Amazon S3 publishing destination, Webcam picture-in-picture for YouTube as well as closed captions for YouTube and now when recording with a webcam and creating a .camrec the screen and webcam will be two separate videos within Camtasia Studio to make editing easier.
In addition to the 4.0.1 updates, we have also updated Fuse for Camtasia Relay, which is available in the Apple App Store. The major updates were to eliminate the recording time limit and give the user three recording quality options.

I would like to see Fuse have an audio only recording option. Clearly that would limit the profile publishing options but this could be very valuable for meeting recording and distribution where video is not necessary.

Hi, Allen! You can already do that if you have an .mp3 only profile set up on Relay! Are you running into problems with it?
-
-
But you are not ask for the profile until after the recording so you are recording the video on the device to begin with and transferring the video when all you really want is an audio recording. On devices with limited memory that could be a problem couldn't it?

Hi Allen. Yes you are right. We have had a brief discussion about the possibility of an audio only recording, but have not done any evaluation on how it would be accomplished. It is something that we may consider in the future, but is not in the immediate plans for Fuse. One moderate work around would be to use the low quality video option with the MP3 only output, which would at least minimize the size of the recording. I realize that doesn't solve the problem completely, but may help.
