Add a watermark option to a video being directly shared on Screencast.com
@TechSmith Is there any way to add a watermark to a video destined for Screencast.com?

There are a couple ways you can go about adding a watermark to your video being hosted on Screencast.com. If uploading using the "Share to Screencast.com" preset in the Production Wizard, then you'll need to add your watermark by using a Callout on the timeline. If you don't mind uploading your produced MP4 manually to Screencast.com, then you can use the Custom Production Settings option in the Production Wizard and add a watermark on the Video Options page.
Here's a 3 minute video that walks you through both of these options. http://www.screencast.com/t/QjQXM0oHKEC
Hope this helps,

Hi Ryan, thanks for that. I'm puzzled as to why there isn't simply an option to add the watermark in the production settings for Screencast.com, this would be by far the most convenient way of doing it. After all, the attraction of Screencast.com is convenience - if I'm going to have to manually upload, I might as well use my own space or S3.

I agree with you. I will change this question into an "Idea" so that it can be added as a feature request for Camtasia Studio.
Perhaps a nice location for this would be in the Screencast.com Options button... http://screencast.com/t/bBGa06hGXr
Thanks Kev, for your feedback. -
