I want my content on my pc not online?

Hi Hestrogen,

If you sign in to screencast.com you should be able to go to your Jing folder, click on the media you want, then click the "show details" button and you should be able to see the download link.

If you have a lot of content in your Jing folder on Screencast.com, the site may not perform well in your browser. If you find that to be true, try the beta library view instead.

Thanks Glen, I'll look at the video now, a similar forum topic had the same instructions you typed now but I could not see a link or option to download it.

Would it have anything to do with creating the file with Jing and not uploading directly via Jing but saving the Jing file to my work pc and then uploading it to screencast afterward? Unfortunately at the time an instant upload was not possible so it had to wait until the morning and be done the way I explained.

In the interim i'll take a look at the vid. Could you let me know if handling the upload like this could have had any effect? It's currently within a personally created folder within the route directory provided by screencast.

Thanks for the quick reply. I apologise for my previous tone, I am just incredibly frustrated with a number of unrelated things going wrong and this was just the cherry on top of a bad day.

Glenn, my word I am ridiculous. I do apologise, it seems because at work I use a large Imac and at home I have a 23" I did not realise there were options below the video because I had to scroll in order to see them since the res of the video was so much bigger in the preview. Your vid really helped a lot, thanks for taking the time to create it.

A suggestion then from me would be to perhaps try incorporate the download option in the file list/details view. This would aid any other silly people like me :P
