I am interested in producing videos with Camtasia Studio that utilize Camtasia's table of contents (TOC) functionality, and I would like to embed a library of such videos in my website for streaming. I understand that ScreenCast.com is one hosting platform that supports the TOC functionality. Do other online video platforms (OVPs) support this functionality? I am aware of the current abundance of OVPs, but I am specifically interested in their support of Camtasia-produced TOCs.
I'm a newbie, so please excuse me if this is a silly question!
Thanks,
Greg
Options for Hosting and Embedding Camtasia Videos with Table of Contents (TOC)?

Try [custom] producing to MP4 flash using the new CS 7 overlay controller, embedded in HTML.
The overlay controller offers an excellent TOC that is searchable; the movies can also be viewed in full screen mode in a browser.
They work when viewed from a local PC or when hosted on a web site. -

Greg, we rely on Flash embedded in a web page to implement the ToC feature. Most video hosting platforms like Vimeo and YouTube will not work because they use their own Flash controller and only allow you to upload a video file, not an entire presentation like we produce.
If you have your own website then you can certainly upload the entire produced package of files and have the ToC, and our screencast service also supports the ToC. -

Hi. I have found this not to be true. I've output the embed code to my server and although the mp4 plays the toc will not. I have set Mime types for mp4 on my server and am bug eyed at tweaking html.

When you produced the video with CS 7, what flash controller did you use?
In the Production Wizard, did you specify that the video be embedded in HTML [by the Production Wizard]?
You should have seen maybe 7 files in the output file set; all these files need to be uploaded to the same folder location; you URL to the HTML in that file set to play video and see any TOC, etc. -

Ok, following along on this :)
I'm using Amazon S3 for my hosting files/videos. I can't upload a whole folder but I can upload each of the individual 7 files. If I do that, which file url do I use when linking my video player to the correct file?
Thanks! -

I do not know how S3 works; generally if you upload all [7] produced files to same folder, you should be able to URL using the uploaded .html as target. This will play video in a browser.
No idea what you mean by "linking my video player to the correct file". -
