Screen Chomp Crashing
After creating a video, I a choosing to share via Screen Chomp. When the cloud is preparing the video, the app closes and I can't go any further. Help please!

We have updated ScreenChomp to version 1.4 that dramatically increases the reliability of sharing your videos. We apologize the incredibly long and painful time period that this has been happening. We have also removed the Facebook login to eliminate some confusion. Thank very very much for your patience and happy Chomping!

I had this same problem. Not clear how to get out of it either. I seem to have lost access to the videos I created.

I cant access the 4 videos I recorded today
I did sent 2 in email to client so maybe they can send the links back to me and see if I can re access
Would it have been that I maybe hadnt set up an account so it didnt know where to send the videos??
Who can help? How can I get those videos back again and how can I get Screenchomp to stay open so I can use it again

Hi Leigh - our apologies. If you would send the links of the videos to screenchomp@techsmith.com - you can copy the links one at a time and paste them into one email, we can see if we can track them down.
You do not have to set up an account. Again, our apologies on not working well for you and we can try and track down those links if you send them over.

In the few seconds I open before it crashes I see it seems to be stuck preparing one of the videos for sharing

Hi Leigh - I just want to make sure that you can play those two links back (b/c I can). As for the other one trying to prepare to share. Unfortunately, if the video is stuck in the render state, there isn't much we can do and that video is lost. My apologies, Leigh - I know the app is not performing well right now.

I made one short video to test and now it crashes every time I open it. Has this issue been resolved yet? I see reports of the same problem from a couple of months ago, but no posted solution.

Hi George, you're correct we have not had a solution for months. We are heavily checking into this very recently and are building an update that will address this issue - among others.
