Synchronized audio dubbing in Camtasia Studio

I'm using Camtasia for multilingual educational videos. One big issue is the correction of the voice translation. The existing feature "Narration" has the problem that when I make a mistake and I have to rewind to a previous word/expression, I have to stop the recording and Camtasia asks for an audio file name.

I would like to be able to pause recording, move freely around on the timeline, click on a certain position and restart recording from exactly that spot, overwriting whatever there is already on the active audio track. Only when I finish completely (by stopping), ONE audio file is saved from the whole active audio track.

Doing this in external softwares is a tedious job since I don't know of any software that shows the video in sync with the audio while audio dubbing. This would be a great feature in Camtasia since where the Canvas shows the video in the place where the playhead is and we could see exactly what we're commenting in our narrations.

This feature in addition to up to 4 audio tracks would be even better since we could keep all the 4 languages of our videos in one project and produce them one by one (or even as a batch process during production, if Techsmith wants to make our lives even easier ;-) )
