  • I am sorry for any confusion! The log in credentials for Screencast.com will be a separate log-in from the community blog and for our technical support center.

If you have not created an online support account for our website in the past, you will want to create a quick log-in account in order to send us a support ticket.

The problem I am having is that the user name and password that I use for Screencast.com will not work when I try to ask a question or participate in the foumn. What am I doing wrong? I have entered the user name and password very carefully many times. Do I need a different, separate user name and password to ask a technical question?

I have a user name and password for Screencast.com. It does not appear to work to get technical help or to log into the community. Perhaps I just don't know what I am doing.

I am having a lot of trouble with my password to get any help. The password that works for logging into Screencast.com does not work for asking a question. When I try to aks a technical question of participate in the forum it aske me to log it. I can't. Do I need separate passwords for that, is that a separate registration from Screencast.com? I also can not figure out how to make the MP4 rewind and paly back, or fast forawrd. For educational videos this is basically essentail. It must be there. The sliders in the viewer move but nothing happens. I have tried to read about this with self help but can't understand what I am doing wrong.

    LHT100,

Just to clarify, Screencast.com, support.techsmith.com and feedback.techsmith.com all require different usernames and passwords. Admittedly, this isn't ideal, but it's how our current systems operate.

    I hope this helps!
