Dear Techsmith team,
first of all, awesome job on Camtasia 2, but I have a small problem.
I tried to upload a video to YouTube and I am a verified user with being able to upload more than 15 minutes. However, I ingored the little message and kept on uploading. However, after the upload has finished there was a new error message poppung up, telling me that an unexpected YouTube error has happened and that I should upload my video again. To be honest, I didn't tried several times for now, since one export process takes like 20 minutes or so. Is this a problem which happened to others too?
Besides that it would be nice to set videos to private, insert tags and stuff like this. I don't want to upload a video and expose it to publicity without doing all the necessary things! :)

Sorry to hear that you are having problems. If you can get it to happen again can you take a screenshot of the error message and post it in here? Or you could look in you Console app around the time the error occurred and you should see something in there about "YouTube error code"Comment -

Alex, how much memory does your Mac have? Could you upload a screenshot of your project/timeline so we get a sense of how large/complex your project is?

I have this problem. It's pissing me off. The video will finish rendering, and then just quit and say try again.

If you open a case you can attach your project and they can also run some diagnostics by looking at your console to see exactly where it's breaking down.

Hey guys,
I would love to help out but I just had the Camtasia 2 trial and it is already expired, so I really can't open any project and do screenshots etc.
Basically the project wasn't really "that" massive. It was basically a movie of around 15-20mins length and three audio channels. One contained the Minecraft audio, one contained my headset plus I recorded an additional one with the AudioHighjack Pro. I think project movie files varied from 2-5GB.

frustrated and disappointed
I'm having the same issue with a video that's only 5 minutes long. I have tried 6 times to upload it but get similar error code response after it has exported and about 75% through loading up to YouTube. I have a pretty powerful iMac with 4 gig RAM so disappointed that this is taking time especially when I'm working on a client's project.-
On my 8th go, it uploaded but would like to know what the glitch might be
