After 2 months, Camtasia 9 persistently crashes after 5 minutes of recording. I contact Tech Support and got a technician to post with a question. When I answer the question, I don't hear a word back. And the issue was considered "solved". That's sad. Solved is Uninstalled... and look for alternatives. A $200 lesson folks.

What operating system do you have, and how much memory in installed?  Have you reviewed Windows Event Viewer to see if there are any errors which might provide a clue as to why this is happening?

Maybe this forum can help. Can you tell us about your computer and your workflow?

Hi kbswaff,

I'm sorry you are having trouble!

I just checked with our Technical Support team, and an agent contacted you back on January 23, 2017. And, again to follow-up with you today. However, they have not received back any reply from you.

Perhaps check your email including your SPAM or Junk folders to ensure you are receiving emails from techsmith.com.

Kelly maybe post this information up for kbswaff too just in case they are having trouble with their email or something then they can give TechSmith a call and talk to them. Hope I am not invading with this post and information/suggestion but it gives that user the opportunities to get help if needed also. So here is what I have added and hope it helps. Have a great day/night.
