Has anyone gotten a .mogrt file to convert to Camtaisa? These are After Effects and Premiere Motion files.

That would be impossible as .mogrt's are motion graphic templates that integrate with Adobe's After Effects and Premier Pro.
There created in After Effects for use in Premier Pro to be exact.

So that leaves Camtasia out.

Then is there a way to convert an After Effects file to an . assetproj file? I guess the question is how to make your own  Motion Graphic for Camtaisa so a team could use customized graphics?

So, theres no converting After Effects files to work in Camtasia. Just because video editing is involved.Like a car, the parts aren't interchangeable.

You can create your own graphics templates and save them to the Library. To do that you could use various shapes, titles, behaviors, effects, etc.
The best way to understand the process is to dissect Some of the Library Assets. See what makes them tick.

Here I've placed the intro called "State" on the timeline.

When you right click then ungroup the intro. You will see all the assets.
The applied animations. If you look at the text you will see a small triangle at the center of the callout, appearing at the bottom.Click it, and you will see what behaviors have been applied.

Camtasia's animated library asset's are all built the same way. It's how the program works. There are no 3rd party plug-ins or other way.Unless you import pre-rendered graphics in the form of a video.
Pick a few apart. If you have a grasp of After Effects, this is not that complicated.

You can add images if you want, Video.
When your done, you group everything. Save it to your Library and Name it.You would need to Export it as a Zip to share it with others. You can export just the one item as a Zip.

Then, others would add the "Now Template" to the timeline. To make changes you "OPEN" the group. Don't Un-group it. Although you can Re-group it, no real harm done,it will lose it's name.
Just open it, click an asset to change it.

If it's text, the playhead must be in the right place for the text to appear in the canvas area. Then change the text on the canvas.

If you have an image or video, right click and select Update Media.

In a nut shell, that's how it's done.
