.NET fails during install of snagit

Trying to install snagit.  all downloads well.  when it is installing .NET framework,  it gets halfway through and then does a rollback and then fails.   I have created a new admin account (Locally) and it has total access to all on the PC.  I still get the same error.  from what I have read about installs on .NET ,  it seems to be a permission issue with %temp%.
anyone know a workaround to this?

Right click the installer and choose "Run as administrator" would be the first thing to try

Tried that.   no difference.  I even disabled my AV to see if that was stopping it.
Windows 7 Pro,  64Bit.

I think you need to raise a ticket with Support then.

If you are using windows 8 or 10, go to the temp folder, right click and add yourself with full permissions to the folder. Make sure the machine administrators is on the lost and has full permissions
My path is "C:\Users\Rick\AppData\Local\Temp" Change "Rick" to your account name
