If there is I can't figure it out.
I tried sharing to Google Drive and that's all I can do. I can't drag it into Google Photos. The Move to Feature won't let me move there either.
The Folder structure in SnagIt has no option to share it with Google Photos either, but I place the blame on Googles lack of a folder structure for Photos on that.
Maybe someone else will come up with something I'm missing?

Regards,Joe

There is a work around and once setup has worked well.

First go here and download the Google drive/photo app for your machine.
https://photos.google.com/apps

Install it (you'll have to do a restart) .

Create a folder to use as the sync folder. I created a folder called Google Photos in My Documents.

Open the google app and lets configure the settings.

1. Select My Computer.
2. Don't sync to Drive.
3. Choose the folder you created earlier.
4. Choose the Photo size and if you want items removed or not.
5. Check mark Google Photos.
6. Click OK.

Now we need to create a new preset in Snagit. We'll call it Google Photo.

Go to "Manage Presets" and and click "New Preset"

In the new preset click on Image tab.
Choose your selection method.
Under share, choose "File"
Now click on the settings cog.

Here's the one drawback. You have to select Automatic file name or Fixed file name
and then set the "Fixed folder to the folder you created earlier ie; Google Photos.

Note:  If you leave the "Preview in Editor" on you'll have to click the Green "Finish" button to complete the capture to your folder and share to Google Photos.

If you turn off "Preview in Editor" your capture should go directly to your folder and share to Google Photos

Once the capture is in your folder you can see if it synced to Google Photos
If you didn't choose to remove items.

P. S. You'll also want to under setting in the app,  Have the app start with Windows so it available for use.

UPDATE:
I forgot to add in my post that when configuring the Snagit preset,  if you do not what to
use the "Automatic file name" or the "Fixed file name" options,  you can select the option to "Ask for file name" but it will set the save folder to "Use last folder" and you will have to make sure you are saving to your Google Photos created folder.

The upside is you can give your image(s) a more relevant name  which is helpful for all the cool stuff Google Photos can do with your images. It also helps if/when you search your images in Google Photos.
