Banner message appears in wrong version and won't dismiss

How do I make this message go away permanently? I've watched the video, I've clicked the X, and I have SnagIT 2019.1 installed. Every time I launch the editor, this bar comes back.

Make it stop, please!

Perhaps a reflection of techsmith skilful programming not being able to identify the actual version you're using!

Or it could be desperate marketing forcing the programmers to try annoy and hence lose customers.

I suspect it will be in your settings to switch off notifications.

Hey damianrx,

I don't know if your aware of this or not. But if you want to post a png image to this forum, you can click the Camera Icon and add it directly to the forum page.

I think it's easier than uploading to another site and sharing.
Plus, It can be more convenient for users. In my opinion.

@joe true that, I usually embed the image but didn't have time .
I save off site so my pictures remain mine and no one can delete them.
It is also easier to keep track of the images I upload to various forms.
I can also reuse these images on other forums if necessary.

Appreciate the heads up.

In the Editor preferences under the General tab turn off 'Onboarding"

or if you want to leave it on, change the Banner Notification option.

@Dubie Nice love the pink!  This looks like the go.  I don't have 2019 so can't see this.
