If you want to increase the default limit of 25 acquisitions shown in the editor,
it is necessary to change the respective value in the registry machine.

But where do you have your head?
Even a child knows what the procedure is to access the advanced functions of any window program !!!

You can open the Windows registry by typing regedit in the search tab of the Start Menu in Windows XP and Windows 7. You can also open it by typing regedit.exe at the DOS command prompt. The actual program is named regedt32.exe and is located in the following location: C:\Windows\System32\regedt32.exe

and go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TechSmith\SnagIt\11

There there are you will find a large number of hidden snagit features that you can customize, including Number of Recent Captures Shown In Editor,
set the value you want, if you want it to be unlimited enter value 0.

In v18 it works but the ability to have the vertical scroll bar is gone so you cannot get the view shown above. There is a horizontal scroll bar

Hi, in 2019 release I can't find the registry key to tweak. Any help, please?

There is no 'Number of Recent Captures Shown In Editor'.

I'm not able to find the setting in my 2019 version either.  Does anyone know where this key is located now?

Unsuprisingly this breaks the UI and purpose of "recent" captures. They want you to use the Library extensively!

This thread should *not* show 'SOLVED'. The issue is still there, unfortunately. And editing the Regedit keys, generally speaking, does not work with the latest releases.

Anyone has been succesful with Snagit 2020, please?
The recent # files limitation is quite frustrating inexplicable these days.
