2018 version does not recognise bandicam recordings?

Camtasia 2018 no longer recognises my bandicam recordings; tried contacting technical support for Camtasia and they suggested I'd try converting my recordings? They advise me this incredibly complicated and long winded means of a possible fix. The reason people buy your program, is it is simply and easy to use. Camtasia 9 was able to recognise my files, so why doesn't your latest version do the same?? Why would I buy Camtasia 2018, do some long winded possible solution with every recording I make, whilst on Camtasia 9, it's as simply as dragging the recording into the canvas and off I go.

Are you running the latest version of Bandicam?
I don't use Bandicam but I'll run it for testing purposes. My old recordings work.
I updated to the latest version just now and recorded a quick video, webcam and all. Heres a screen shot of that recording loaded onto Camtasia 2018's timeline.

Thanks, will check later today. I'm hoping this fixes it, otherwise I think I'll move to using sony vegas instead. Camtasia has been a real headache for quite a while tbh. 1 fault is fixed, only for another to take it's place. But I'm just moaning, thanks again and will test later and see if this helps :)

Isn't Bandicam just another screen and webcam capture utility? I'm curious why you use it rather than just recording with Camtasia? Does Bandicam have some special capabilities or other advantages?

I'm not questioning your methodology, just trying to understand it. I'm pretty new to the video creation game and trying to learn about anything that could be helpful.

Camtasia can only record game-play in Windowed mode. It's incapable of recording "Game play" in Full screen mode.
So you end up with a recording that has a border.Plus you must play the games while in windowed mode. So, slightly less than full screen game play.

Bandicam can record at 60fps, Camtasia cannot.
