I get a 506 error when trying to zip a project file. Never had this problem with Cam9, just got the 2018 and get this. Sounds like we have a bug?

Follow up on this ... I was able to get the file to zip after removing a number of unused media elements and also removing the unused tracks. Problem solved (hopefully)

very interesting; glad you got it zipped; recommend you test that zip archive by loading it back into Camtasia, just to be sure

regarding "unused media", when I zip a final project for safe keeping, I un-check the box to include all bin items; keeps the archive smaller in size

I've zipped many projects that had unused [empty] tracks; never had a problem there; perhaps contact free tech support and ask them about that?

I'll pass this along ...

I've occasionally had to include non-Camtasia project stuff within the zip archive, like text files, SRT files, Excel spreadsheet files, etc

after the zip is created, I just copy/paste these files into the zip archive

when that zip is loaded again in Camtasia, those files are again available within the extracted files folder; has never adversely affected the project
