Is it possible to add "ease in" and "ease out" to "visual properties" ?
If it is not possible, this could be a great functionality.

This is not currently an option in 8.0.4. We'll take your suggestion into consideration for future release. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback! We definitely value your insight and it gets taken into account when we iterate on our products. That being said, I am pleased to announce the release of Camtasia Studio 8.1, and I’m even more excited to tell you that it features the ability to ease animations in and out.

By default, easing for animations is turned off. However, you can turn easing on and make it the default setting for all animations:

  1. From within Editor, choose Tools > Options.

  2. The tabbed Options dialog box appears. Change the Default animation easing setting to Exponential In/Out.

  3. Click OK.

For more information, check out this video tutorial: http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-cam...

If you have Camtasia Studio 8 installed (trial or licensed version), you can update to the new version by clicking Help > Check for Updates, or by downloading and installing here: http://www.techsmith.com/download/cam...

If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know!

It is wonderful to see the addition of the Ease In and Out feature.

Wondering if it could be made just a bit more flexible by having the options to Ease in OR out.

There are many movements that would be enhanced by only accelerating in one direction... i.e. an image of an object "rolling" down the screen or a car zooming off.
