Youtube offers a lot of these options. I don't like using Youtube, because the screencast interface and streaming is better. However I recently made a video with ADA capable captions. I can't change them from closed to open captions, nor can I make them not searchable. So whenever I try to share this video, it ends up smushed into about 50% of the space, with the left third of the screen being taken up by a non-closable search window.
Yes if you don't click or hover, the window goes away after 3-4 seconds, but most of the time the viewer just spends the whole video trying to click away the search box. They can drag it around, but they can't get rid of it. I just want my patrons to be able to watch my video!
