Ability to Create Folders & Organize Imported Media

Sometimes when I'm working on a larger project, I've imported lots of media files - and if the clips are similar, or there's lots of images, it can be hard to keep track of what is what when all your media are thumbnails - essentially in the same directory.

Instead, I'd like to be able to switch from thumbnail view to detail view (file name, type), and create folders to organize the imported media for the project.  This will help create an efficient workflow for projects with multiple files.

I too would love to see this added. I was working on a project in the last week where I had several types of media that would have been nice to logically organize into folders. Once you add perhaps ten or so files, the Media Bin begins to become unwieldy with the thumbnails. And as you begin to add more and more, the problem simply grows.

This is one of the most important ideas for the Media Bin, to be able to create subfolders to organize Video, Audio, Pictures, Music, etc.

I agree, this is a must have.  I often work on large projects and I'm taking snippets every day.  Limiting us to sorting these by date is not working out.

I like this idea. It would be awesome to able to organize my media in bins or folders.
