Hello,
I have been fighting for months already with subtitles in Camtasia. The automatic generation option is not suitable because there are too many changes to make so I have to insert for each video, the text manually and resize each subtitle manually as well. It's very long ! So I have 2 questions here as an attached picture.
Thank you for your advices and answers. Sincerely, Frédérique

In fact, I actually cut the subtitles and then brought them back, but I wanted to avoid cutting them off. But thanks for that suggestion.

you can often greatly improve speech-to-text accuracy using this technique ...

I just use Otter.ai to do speech to text, then tweak the write up in Otter, before downloading it as an SRT file and uploading it to my Camtasia video. Though today I started noticing, Camtasia can sometimes leave blank caption (less than 0.5 seconds) and also chop off letters almost randomly from some words. But it is a much smoother and faster process.
