Add a minimum image width when a Snagit region is captured into the Editor

Often when doing region captures, I need to print the image.  Using the Effects dropdown, I selected Image Resolution and set the resolution to 600dpi.  This works great!

But most captures are too small to print, usually the captured size is 1.x" in width.  Thus, I need to resize the image before I can "copy all" and paste into Word for printing.  As the resolution is 600dpi, I can resize in the Editor to full page width of 8" and the image prints just fine, without being grainy.

Thus, my feature recommendation is to add the option of setting a minimum image size for the  captured image when it lands in the Editor.  Thus, for me, I would probably set this to be 6", whereby I could work with the image, crop it, add text, etc. and I would have a printable size image, an image that I can read, when printed; it would not end up as postage stamp size when printed.

For how I use Snagit, I would not have to upsize every captured image in the Editor before I could use it elsewhere.

Try making a image preset with two effects.
Image Resolution and Scale image

First set your resolution effect and then click the options down arrow.
At the bottom of the list select "Add another effect" .

Then select Scale image for the next effect and the scaling option

Save the preset and then try a capture with it.

It should open in the editor at the resolution and sizing you set in the preset.
