Add playback speed to the Camtasia editor

PLEASE, we need to be able to change the playback speed in the editor. If I'm editing a 2 hour class, proofing the class for audio and video issues is brutal without being able to adjust the playback speed.
Scrubbing by dragging the cursor doesn't really help.  Sure you see the video, but it's tricky to move at a rate the allows details to show when for example, there's a short screen glitch or an out of place annotation.
Scrubbing does nothing to pick up sound issues.
Being able to playback at 1.5 or 2 times the regular speed would allow us to do the final proof before saving it to file more efficiently.
As it stands now, we have to save the video to file, then proof the final version.  First, it takes a long time to export a 1-2hr video.  Second, if you do find an error, you have to go back through the whole process again.
I'm evaluating the 2018 version, which does not have that capability. Unless there's something really great about this new version, I'll probably hold my money until playback speed is added as a function.

This would be an awesome addition!  I agree -- you have to create the MP4 file and review IT to find any glitches .. then go back   edit and repeat

I too am done buying mini upgrades built for amateurs, when Camtasia lacks VERY standard features:

Namely, fast-playback, J-K-L playback and keyboard shortcuts.  A few serious keyboard shortcuts FINALLY exist in 2019!!!

Another MASSIVE timesaver is the "tops and tails" editing functionality with Q and W, found in Premiere.  "Q" lops off the top of the clip (back to the last cut point), and "W" lops off the rest of the clip (forward to the end of the current clip).

Any time I have to touch the mouse is another 2 seconds of life I'll never get back.  :(
