add some useful cursor effects...the current ones are useless...aka add an image of the mouse with highlighted buttons

the current cursor effects do not tell me which button is being shown (the colors don't help)
The current cursor effects do not support the middle mouse button
the current cursor effects do not support scrolling the wheel.

The current cursor effects are only useful if you have a 1 button mouse, like the first one invented.

The colors don't help distinglish what button is being clicked.
Add something like this

as a current workaround ...

make your own using an image of a mouse with transparent background, with button/wheel actions indicated by colors; store them in the Library as use whenever

you can then hide the real cursor and overlay it with one of your mouse assets as appropriate

FYI, years ago, I did something similar with a mouse image that was attached to a large cursor image; it worked just fine as described above, but in the end I just decided it was more cost-effective to just use the default cursor at its largest size; only remaining complaint is that the cursor is always at the lowest track, so overlying objects, like a callout, will cover it; the mouse asset solves that problem

by the way, the color rings should work just fine to distinguish which button is clicked; I use red for left, blue for right

I really wish Camtasia would add this feature as well.  For more complex/detailed videos this is a real hassle.  Especially considering many different considerations such as exact cursor position, tool tips, etc.  It would make it so much easier for producers to do if we could just do the initial request, which is to put the cursor on top.  I know this requires programming, and I am sure it isn't trivial.  I am simply saying it is VERY useful from a production perspective.  This is especially true when a video is good except for one dialog box needing an update.
Camtasia is a TERRIFIC product and support is excellent.  I hope this feature can make it :)
