your recent update to 2.1 is great. Now I would like to see a drag drop feature that I can use on Microsoft SkyDrive. would make SnagIt Mac, The perfect screen Grab utility for Mac. Would be a good feature for the PC Version.

Hi Phillip,

Microsoft has released a Mac application for SkyDrive that you can download here: https://apps.live.com/skydrive/app/f6....

Once you have that installed, it creates a folder in Finder under your user folder: http://screencast.com/t/6wsvPyGDJnU

If you're willing to install this application for quick sharing to SkyDrive, dragging and dropping from the Snagit tray to SkyDrive should work very well, here is a quick demo video: http://screencast.com/t/ImjlPIRPOxV

I hope this helps out, I realize it might not be ideal if you're looking to drag and drop directly to the SkyDrive web interface, but I wanted to share this nice workflow.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions,

Jason

Problem is due to my very slow DSL connection. I'm still using Snow Leopard.

I'll try something else such as Dropbox. or Sugar sync. see what happens.

I've found a method though it’s a PIA. and will serve as work around.

Open FireFox get into answers forum.
open new window and open Sydrive Lin
Open SnagIt Mac.
Make your snapshot.
Resize the image shown in window above, as needed
drag the item shown in selection bar to the desktop, create a File on the desktop.
Switch back to FireFox and to SkyDrive page. switch to desired folder. (I created a Photo Folder within public directory).
Click on Add file, browser to file on Desktop.
wait for it to be uploaded.
now select it, and click on show original.
move that page half the screen over
Now switch to window that has the question your answering. the switch to the page you moved over.
Click on image and drag to window used for you answer.
Finally click on your answer window, finish up you answer and submit.

using Sktich is a simple Drag a drop operation directly into SkyDrive.
