Add the Script to the timeline

I would like to be able to add my script to the timeline so I could synchronize it with the video ahead of time.  Then I could read it while recording the audio with the voice narration tool and pretty much synchronize everything from start to finish.

I am very new to Camtasia, and this is only my second production so I am not sure if this is possible already or not.

Thank you
Tim

What exactly do you mean by adding a script ? I didn't quite get that part. Still, if you want to narrate the audio while playing the video, why don't you just put it one a piece of paper of may be on notepad and then start narrating.
I'm not sure if that answers your question or at least helps you in some way but still I hope you find this helpful.

Hi Perla

Thank you for your reply

I have watched all of the tutorials and I used a script to produce my first video. I am doing the same thing now with my second video.

I created longish visual sections that include screen captures and I would like to add the audio to it as a separate track.  I thought that it might be easier if I could paste my script into "captions" and then read-along with the presentation to capture the audio track.

I am kind of clumsy, so reading from a sheet of paper while glancing back at the screen causes me to miss my place a lot.

As I said, I am very new to the Camtasia Studio.  I really love the program !  I am just trying to learn how to do a few things that would suit my skill set better.

Thank you
Tim
