Adding a frame reduced my video size

I added a iPhone frame to my video of an instruction, using an iPhone 7+. The frame is quite large now and the video does not fit to the frame. This used to work perfectly on my old Camtasia... I am sure there is a setting that I am missing? If I try to resize this, it resizes the frame and not the actual video.  If I remove the frame... it goes back to original size. This happens if I add any frame btw.

Is your video exactly the size of the phone pixels I see there, or is the video actually much wider with black bars on either side?

Actually, I've answered my own question, when I clicked on your image I can see on the edges that you have a very wide video with black bars in it. So, when it goes to fit that video into the iPhone frame, all that black space has to fit into the device frame. Does this make sense?

I believe you can account for that though by cropping off the wasted black space on the sides. Click on the Crop icon at the top to enter crop mode, make your adjustments, and then click it again to get out of crop mode. THEN add your device frame.

The video was done by connecting to Camtasia on my phone. I then added the frame and it minimized the video. Perhaps it is a glitch. I will try to re-shoot it again and see what happens...

Great. Perhaps the other one you had already exported out previously, on a canvas that was larger than the recording itself, so that's where the black bars came from. Glad you're up and running.
