Adding an element to the library with a fullscreen frame

Hello,
I created a lower third and saved it to the library so I can easily access it.
Is there a way to make the whole element fullscreen, while not changing the size of the elements themselves? What I want to achieve is, I want to have the lower third always placed in the same position, which is much easier if I can just drag it as a fullscreen element onto the screen. I hope you get the idea.

If you add a rectangular callout and make it full-screen.
Make it transparent.
Group it with the Lower Third and add it to the Library.

Then, when you drag it in. The lower third will retain its original position.

if you create the "lower third" in an otherwise empty project, at the desired [re-usable] project settings, like 1920x1080], at the desired size and canvas position, then you select the entire project on timeline and add it to the Library, when you use that asset again, it should go on the timeline at correct size and position; there should be no need to group it otherwise

do you get a different outcome?

I always added it by dragging it onto the screen, but if I add it with a right click it gets positioned like I saved it. Problem solved, thanks!

Is there any copyright on the default Camtasia lower thirds? I used one as the basis to build my own one, but they don't have much in common anymore.

I believe you're free to use them; but perhaps check with free tech support?
