adding html content above video

Hi folks,

I want to add some HTML content to an exported video. I want to add text above the video for instructional purposes. I used a div with text content in it and added the necessary css. But when I add the content the video and the player get pushed off the screen.

How can I adjust the css that comes with the exported video so I can scroll downwards and see the  video?

Hope I'm making sense. I'm working in Dreamweaver.

Thanks,
Greg

Hi glandry1025,

To start I am assuming you are working with a local Camtasia production that you are trying to modify?  If so, then I would recommend you only edit the [production-name].html file to add your new HTML.  Camtasia will also create a [production-name]_player.html file and you do not want to edit that file.  That file contains the HTML, JavaScript and CSS for the video player.

When editing the [production-name].html file make sure you leave the iframe markup alone and the video should play back fine.

Best of luck,
Ben

Thanks all. I figured it out. I had to remove one of the classes that interfered with scrolling.
