All images in my snagit editor seem to have been messed up

I have made a few captures with snagit for mac and closed the editor window. Next time I open the editor, it appears that a "fade" filter has been applied on the image. It seems to be a permanent filter (not just an overlay indicating a selection), since copying and pasting the image will produced a "messed up" result. Has anyone had this issue? Any clues on how to fix it?

Hi,

What version of Snagit and macOS are you running? This sounds like an issue we saw back when 10.13 had just come out, it should be fixed in the latest versions of each major family (4.1.10, 2018.2.7, 2019.1.6)

Thanks for the reply, I'll download the trial for the newest version and hopefully get a license for it soon.
