Camtasia has builtin keystrokes that can be used to trigger a feature.  However, it would be nice to be able to allow the user to customize what those keys are AND to set some on commands that dont have any such as Navigating Frame-By-Frame with a key instead of needing to click the button.

Elsa, you can navigate frame-by-frame using existing keyboard shortcuts

you can see all shortcuts from the help menu/keyboard shortcuts item

Actually, I kinda liked the offline searchable manual that came packaged with version 8.
The file size wouldn't have amounted to much. I don't know why they eliminated it for newer versions? Maybe so they didn't have to update it?

You can download PDF's for newer versions. But that Keyboard shortcuts tab takes you straight to the internet/TechSmith website. Which to me is less than ideal.

Nice to see that it is being worked on and hopefully will be implemented into Camtasia 2018 and possibly Camtasia Studio 9 Versions. I am pretty sure they will not add this feature to all the versions but time will tell. Thanks for posting that information Joe.
