Allow horizontal resizing of the blank area left when canvas is detached.

When the canvas is detached and shuffled off to a second screen, it would be nice if you could make horizontal use of the ‘blank space’ it leaves behind, like you can in Sony Vegas etc.

At present, the Media bin and Annotation options etc on the left are locked to a narrow column that cannot be resized horizontally, so this space is effectively wasted.

Maybe even take this one step farther, and allow docking of all sections.

Indeed, that would be great!

This is one of the "have to be done" things. Moving to C9 from C8 has reduced my usable screen real estate for tracks with about 40 %, resulting in much too much time wasted scrolling up and down, , up and down, up and down, up and down, up and ... to adjust items. Not good at all.

Hi David;

Thanks for the feature request! I brought this to the product team and their response is that maximizing the real estate within the UI is on our radar, and please stay tuned for updates or feel free to reach out to me if you have any more input on the topic.
