Allow zoomed images to be included in a "create video from images..."

I have started to use the SnagIT 2020 create video from images... feature and it is really cool. One thing that happens is that sometimes images that I am using are actually have quite small text. Especially panoramic or scrolling screen shots. So instead of retaking the screen shots it would be cool to allow a "zoom" to occur either before video creation or during video creation to zoom into a part of an image. That would be sort of an annotation I guess.

Alternatively if the zoom feature in the image well could be preserved during the video creation process that would work well. I could zoom ahead of time on each each video and the video creation system would not turn off the zoom as it does now.

Otherwise this feature is a huge time save and is much better than recording real time videos while doing some work. It greatly simplifies the "scripting" process of a walkthrough. Well done!

Hi there

There are a couple of ways you may consider here.

1. SnagIt offers a Magnify tool. At least it does on Windows. I see you tagged both Windows and Mac, so I'm not sure which you are using. You can add a Magnify tool to your Favorites and it should then be available to use during the recording process.

2. While recording, I'm able to use the Ctrl+Mouse Wheel to zoom in or out. Looks like the keyboard equivalent may work too. Ctrl++ ( to zoom in ) and Ctrl+- ( to zoom out )

Cheers... Rick :)

The things you learn when an expert answers your question. This is exactly what I was looking for. The favourite tool is not somthing I used but now it seems crucial to have access to it to add to the annotation well. Both tips are excellent and answer my question. No further development needed! Thanks Rick.
