I've received feedback from some of my university students that while viewing my content from home they sometimes have difficulty watching my videos as their home broadband connection can sometimes faulter. To address this I feel it would be ideal if, like Youtube and other video sharing platforms, Screencast.com could allow viewers to select their desired video resolution (e.g. a video rendered as 720p can be optionally viewed at lower resolutions such as 480p). This would allow those with lower speed Internet connections to have a smoother viewing experience. Currently some students are finding it necessary to watch the videos from the university which defeats many of the benefits of featuring online lectures.
