Am I dreaming or did I successfully Restrain Camtasia's CPU usage??

I have an older i5 windows 10 machine with 8 gigs of RAM
and I did a windows configuration to restrain Camtasia to only 80% of the CPU
so it would not hit 101% and crash..

A year later I can not find this configuration for my other newer machines which constantly crash
I tend to shut down ALL programs to give Camtasia Exclusive use of the CPU

Has anyone else managed to configure windows 10 to not take all 100% of CPU

It's no Dream. It's probably due to TechSmith tweaking the render settings in the registry.

Production rendering priority:
By default, Camtasia 9 use "1" here, which is THREAD_PRIORITY_ABOVE_NORMAL in table below. "1" uses roughtly 70% of your CPU power, so you still can use some other light weight applications or activities such as browsing a web and sending/receiving emails etc. There are other flags you may use in case you want Camtasia to use more or less of your machine's CPU power:
