How do I merge two videos into one? Both are camproj files. Import only "sees" camrec files. How the heck do I get them both?

Hello,

Have you produced either of the files yet?

If not, what I would recommend is to:

1. Open one of the camproj files and produce it as an mp4. (Produce and Share>any mp4 option)
2. Open the other camproj file and import the produced mp4 to the clip bin.
3. Place the .mp4 in the appropriate spot on the timeline (beginning? end?) and produce from there as normal.

Hope this helps. This of course, would only work if you are trying to have one video play after the other.

I have Camtasia mac. I want to do this also.

If I export one video as an mp4, and then import it into the other project, there is some quality loss, and some color alteration (blues/orange-reds). The quality loss isn't a big issue; repeated color alterations are.

This is basically the technique I've been using, and it's a pain -- I want to do better. I cannot find anything equivalent to the "library" on Camtasia Mac.

Nope, unfortunately Camtasia Mac doesn't have the library function. I am hoping to see this functionality added at some point. It would be very helpful.

another option is to open 1st camproj, add the project to Library

load 2nd camproj and add it to Library

from Library, add both project assets back to timeline; this will combine both projects
