I do not mean something like the sketch motion callouts that are present in the current version of CS, but animation in the way how the callout is shown.
E.g. you define a left pointing arrow callout that moves in view from the right and then stops at the final location, pointing at the item of interest. You define starting position (which can be off screen!!) and end position (which can be off screen as well) and a transition duration.
This should obviously not just work for arrow callouts, but for any callout.
Similar: animate the size: during time, a callout grows or shrinks. Define a starting size and ending size and duration. Either size could be zero or (much) larger than the video dimensions
Or: animate the angle of rotation
And obviously one should be able to combine all of these, as well as the fade in / fade out.
It should also be possible to apply multiple animations to a callout after each other, e.g. first move the callout in sight, then rotate it to a different angle, then move it to another position and finally shift it out of sight again, while it also shrinks and fades out.
