Annotating non-Snagit images with Snagit 13 editor

I've been playing with the Snagit 13 editor, and have discovered I can use it to annotate images that weren't produced by Snagit.   I've become intrigued with the Capture Info.  I'd like to use it to provide the details of the Exif data in annotated photos taken with a camera.  But so far, I've only been able to manually type it in to the text field.  (see ridiculous photo sample attached).

Has anyone figured out a way to automate this task or make it less tedious?  This could be useful in photo oriented tutorials.   I assume that the Snagit editor isn't color managed, but it could still be useful in many situations

Hi Glen and thanks for stopping by!

One thing you might want to look into is a text expander; we in the Technical Support department here at TechSmith use PhraseExpress for common text. It is effectively a macro that when we press a hotkey or type a specific phrase, it puts out the specific phrase that we need.

If you are largely typing the same content time and again, simply add the phrase to the software, then type out the shortcut and voila, it types it out / pastes for you.

Maybe others in the community will have other ideas?

I think the question is about automatically inserting EXIF data in a screen shot. I can see how this would be useful in a "photo-oriented tutorial." Text-expanding macros are not useful for this.
I also vaguely remember that a similar issue has been discussed a few months ago. Searching the forum might be worthwile.
