Any advice for filming myself while talking to the computer screen?

I'm looking to film myself in HD with a dslr camera while interviewing someone on my computer screen via Skype.  I will be talking into a mic on my desk connected to my computer via USB.  And I'd like to record the audio of my Skype guest on a separate channel from my mic.  This way in post production I can adjust the sound of my mic separately  from my Skype guest's mic.  Also in post production I will be inserting the dslr video of me talking to the computer screen.  Can I accomplish this all using Camtasia?

Here is an example of what I am looking to accomplish: I am not very tech savvy and any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Also I haven't yet purchased Camtasia as I want to make sure it can help me accomplish my goals.
Thank you so much,

good Q, have you asked the guy on the video, how he is doing. I look for similar some time ago, You have to look to record from your audio card, what is called "What you hear"

Hi Ryan,
Have you reviewed our tutorial about picture-in-picture video with Camtasia?  That should help with adding yourself to the video.  In addition, we have a tutorial about audio editing that addresses multiple audio tracks including PIP audio:  Let me know if this helps you!
