Solution for xml manifest dropping media path as of Relay 5.x ?

For Relay 3.x and 4.x published recordings we parse the optional XML manifest for each encode method.

This allowed us to build a small web app where users could download a zip of all files produced by their recording ... and also delete when no longer required.

Snippet:
<outputFiles>

<fileList>

<file name="*path-to-file-used-to-be-here/*video.mp4"  ...

The issue we are faced with now is as of Relay 5.x the required video.mp4 is located in a subdirectory of unspecified name.

We are unable to reverse engineer the path from the 'destinationPath' URL as the different encode methods (small, large, camrec) handle special characters inconsistently* (some replace with underscore, some don't) ...

* last time I checked, Relay 4.3.1

Apparently the *path-to-file-used-to-be-here* was a bug in Relay 4.3.1 eliminated in 5.x however went undetected in our rush to regain support for our OS X Mavericks and El Capitan user base (and didn't make the release notes):

Any help appreciated as this is going to be another nail in the coffin for our lecture capture solution.

FYI: Apparently 'relativePath' node will be included in a coming release which should address this issue for us.
