when the new camtasia comes out I want to be able to use the quizes from the camtasia videos i make, but am not sure how to get these videos and quizzes in the 3rd party sites that the user has access to like kajabi.  If someone is successfully using quizzes in their camtasia video within a membership site (so the content is protected from public access, please let me know how to do this.  thanks so much!

well, you can always host your videos, with quizzes, on Screencast.com; that hosting site offers good access security, including username/password if required

I host my quiz projects on my own web site and allow access, where needed, via an ASP.net SQL web application that supports sign-in credentials.

Camtasia projects that have quizzes must be hosted on a normal web site, or, Screencast.com [not something like YouTube] because the entire produced file set must be on the site so that the SmartPlayer can drive the quizzes, and report accordingly

alternatively, you can host them on a LMS but I have no experience doing that myself

can I host them on screencast.com and embed the code into a membership platform like Kajabi.  Currently I do this with vimeo and kajabi with regular videos.  So I upload to vimeo then take the code and embed in Kajabi.  Think this would work with screencast.com instead of vimeo?

sorry, but I do not know anything about "kajabi"

perhaps try providing a link on kajabi that points to the actual video on Screencast.com?

or just try it and see if it works?

again, the quizzes will only work if all the produced files are available on the hosting site

maybe someone else can offer better suggestions?

Quizzing would not work with a service like Vimeo because it's dependent on TechSmith's SmartPlayer. If you produce your videos and send them to a service that transcodes and/or uses their own video player (like YouTube or Vimeo) quizzing won't work.

As long as your video embed code use the SmartPlayer and the clients can reach our reporting service you should be good.
