Are all default camtasia 9.2 assets included in 2018 version ?

Hi
Just upgraded to 2018 (which I did after a lot of hesitation, as the upgrade is very costly considering the price I paid for the 9.2 version).
Anyway, I imported the 9.2 library to the 2018 version and now I want to combine all assets into one, for convenience of use.
So I am planning to organize the imported content in the new library and after I am done, will delete the 9.2 lib and uninstall the 9.2 version.
So my question is: are ALL default assets in 9.2 included in the 2018 version (which would mean it will be safe to delete the 9.2 lib after I move the custom assets)?

And Is there a way to compare both libraries and to delete duplicate assets for instance?

Hi there;

Questions/Concerns posted to these user-to-user forums, like our Technical Support site, are free, though it may take a bit longer to get a responses here given it is primarily driven by the community.

As to the question, like all major versions before it, Camtasia 2018 assets are different/unique to those in older versions and, like previous releases, does not contain the prior version's assets. This is largely due to licensing, but like previous versions, you can export any library assets that you need by right-clicking on the library item and choosing to export it, then in Camtasia 2018 you can import that zipped library item by opening the library, right-clicking in an empty space, and choosing to import it. Additionally with Camtasia 2018, when you go to the library there is a dropdown and you can select the Camtasia 9 library (if you have Camtasia 9 installed on the system) and Camtasia 2018 will begin the import process for you.
Hope that helps!
