Can I create a Camtasia project on a Mac and then move it to Windows, and vice-versa?

Steve,

Currently, projects are NOT platform independent. Camtasia Studio projects only work in Camtasia Studio and Camtasia for Mac projects only work in Camtasia for Mac.

Conan - but presumably you could render one project as an mp4 file and import that file into the other platform's camproj file?

Correct. That is generally the best work-around at this time.

I'm half of a two-man team split between Mac and Windows working on a large video training course with each doing some of the modules. Just occured to us that if something happened to one of us, the other would have to take over the other's modules. Looks like if that happens we start all over on the other platform. Bummer.

Hi Steve - I'm doing some clean-up to get all requests for this one place. I'm not able to move your comment to the new master thread...so can you copy and paste it over there or at least +1 the new thread? http://feedback.techsmith.com/techsmi...

I'd love to be able to move recordings seamlessly between Mac and PC. I mainly create recordings on digital photography software and the final product usually include material showing both brands of OS.
