Arrow with increasing width

I recently started using SnagIt as it is a company standard here in my new job. I am used to ScreenPresso and Skitch in the past. One thing I can't figure out is how to draw an arrow with increasing (or variable) line width. This seems to be a standard arrow feature in other software I am used to. Please let me know how to draw an arrow in SnagIt as shown below.

SnagIt doesn't provide that style of arrow.

One way you could do it would be to draw a few of them using the other tools at various sizes, then capture them using SnagIt and save them to your hard drive. Then add them as Stamps you could use.

Of course, you would want to ensure they had a transparent background.

Hi Rick, what do you mean by "Other Tools"? Are you referring to something inside SnagIt or you mean other software?

You can download png images of arrows for free.Just do google search for them.

If you have a program like Adobe Illustrator. You can create your own arrows, or convert downloaded ones into PDF files.
They will be recognized as vectors when saved to library. Giving you a high quality arrow at any resolution.

You may even be able to convert to pdf online? I've never searched for the feature myself.

Thanks for the comments and replies. I am aware of the workarounds you guys have mentioned but that is not what I was looking for as I need to be able to change colours and width, etc. and tedious to save every different option I want. Its too bad SnagIt does not have the feature as other software have it as a standard. I just wanted to make sure that I did not miss using an option inside SnagIt.
