Assets for Camtasia Feedback

As I'm using your new Camtasia Assets what strikes me is the lack of searchable fields to find what you are looking for. The search box is a start but it would be good to offer a tick box list to narrow searching down. Its not great scrolling through endless assets when you dont know what you are looking for. Also, I want to find Music that is no longer than 20 or 30 seconds long. But I cannot search for time of audio length. I would like to see Camtasia Assets incorporate what other sites do who offer multiple ways to narrow searching. Also, when looking through the Assets it would be good to add them as you go to a favourites list you can go back to later. Also, add a new section so you can see whats been added recently. I think £199 year is too much and I doubt I will stay loyal long term at those prices, especially as a casual user rather than as a professional user. In my closing comments I like it all and its a great resource but it needs refining for both cost and usability.

Good idea. I must say, the images (photos) are really poor compared to other services. The sounds, music, and video components I find to be amazing.

Can I use the complete camtasia studio library, for commercial purposes and for personal use.
For YouTube videos and then for monetization?
All assets like images, motion graphics, intros, outros ,music ect

Thank you for the feedback, Devonbiker. Can I ask more about why you'd like a favourites list?

Ken, do you have any examples of types of photos you are looking for but aren't finding?

Oh my goodness. Easy! Just hop over to 123rf.com or any of the other Getty mainstream sites. It is the quality and broadness of photos and clip art that I find lacking. Ex: search "guitar" and you'll see. Even for Camtasia I use clip art and I want to use TechSmith Assets but I have to maintain another royalty-free library. Thanks for asking.

I just want to say I love the assets and find it well worth the small yearly subscription price so far. For context, I am a freelance screencaster, so I need a wide variety of items. But it would be so nice, for instance, to be able to search or sort audio clips by length, style, etc. The process now is me previewing sometimes dozens of clips to find the right one, and no way of knowing as I scroll through if I've previously previewed a clip, other than if I were to take the extra time to track that.

I want to echo all of the comments here. I am astounded that, after 20 years of search engines, the folks at Techsmith cannot figure out how to make searching through assets a better experience. Filters would pretty much accomplish most of what is missing. Filters for the length of audio/video and ratings by users would be a great start.
