Audio - Metallic Feedback Vibrations???

Camtasia 9.  Play video from website... when I try and record it and then play it in Camtasia, the audio isn't very good.  Volume level is fine but it's like I get a metallic vibration going on.  I turned off the mic thinking that would help but it hasn't.

I can try on another device but didn't know if this was something common that this newbie is overlooking.

Thanks.
Stephen

What audio settings are you using for recording ?

Click the drop down menu arrow in the recorder (image 1)

Do you have "Record system audio" checked ?

Is your sound card selected ?

I had to turn my System Volume down to 60% to get a cleaner audio. As it records system volume.
That caused my recorded audio to be much better.

I've had to use different drivers which is easily done, in my case, by plugging in the headsets I use.  Go figure...
