Audio recording quality settings : can you change them ?

I am using a steinberg UR242 usb audio interface that can sample up to 24 bit and 192khz.  I do not find a way in Camtasia to determine the sample rate to be used.  Also there is no way to see which sample rate my recorded audio media has once in Camtasia ?  (Would expect this info in the audio properties).    In other software like wirecast I can select amongst all sample rates. Do I miss something ?    Finally when I export the media it is 44khz and 16 bit.

I do select the highest sample rate in the audio prefs window of the mac.  But I can't see if this is used.

You're not missing anything. Camtasia uses a fixed 16 bits and sample rate. Perhaps this should get reposted as a feature suggestion? Add a bit of how and why you use higher quality audio?
