Audio out of sync when recording with Powerpoint add-in

I have been trying to record a short video using the add-in on PowerPoint '13 but the audio is always out of sync! It is out of synch right from the beginning. I am using all the standard settings. Even when I do a brief (<1 minute) test video the audio is out of sync.  I am using version 8. I never had any problems like this when I was using version 7.  I am using a Dell Optiplex 7010 with an upgraded processor. No other programs are used while recording. The system is set for best performance. What do we need to do to make it work?!?

Same problem - was told to reduce my frame/sec from 30 to 10 and if that didn't work to reduce video dimensions on my desktop form 1920x1080 to 1280 x720.

In all cases, the video changes about 1 sec before the audio associated with the Powerpoint Slide finishes. (Addin on Powerpoint, each slide with an attached mp3 and custom animation and auto slide transitions)

Using Intel Core i7 950 Socket 1366 LGA with 24 MB of DDR3 memory and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680. Windows 7 64 bit

Will try to revert back to Camtasia 8 and then to 7 - pretty certain this all worked on those versions.
