Auto copy to clipboard without extra click

I'd like a flow like this:

1) prntscn
2) drag selection
3) save to clipboard

With this suggestion I get close: https://feedback.techsmith.com/techsmith/topics/feature-request-automatically-copy-to-clipboard

However, It still brings up the bar below the selection where I have to click the blue 'Capture an Image' button. The is no apparent hotkey. It would be great if I could just hit enter key or maybe bypass it all together.

You can create a custom Preset to capture images to the clipboard.

You'll probably want to disable "Preview In Editor"
There are several options to chose from.
Including assigning a Hotkey.

I made this image below following the link you provided with a hotkey and do not get any "blue 'Capture an Image' button"

Works perfectly as you wanted.

EDIT: Using v2020

I must have had a hotkey conflict with the main capture or something but it seems to be working now. Thanks!
