Automatically 'Lock' an Image to the Canvas

Yo yo all,

When adding an image to the canvas, there's a right-click option to 'Lock' the image to the canvas.

I tend to forget to do this, and end up accidentally dragging/move around the image after applying some tools over the top (i.e. drawings, boxes, arrows).

Would be awesome if we had an option in the preferences so that whenever you drag an image to the canvas, the 'Lock' setting is automatically enabled.

I did a search and couldn't find a similar topic. Apologies in advance if so, please let me know!

Thank you for your consideration :)

Interesting. This must be another feature parity difference between the Mac and Windows versions.

I'm curious.

Presumably when an image has been locked, you are able to right-click and unlock? What about dragging other images on top of the locked image? Does that work?

Over in the world of Windows SnagIt, we don't have lock. We have "flatten". But this seems to work completely differently than locking would.

Cheers... Rick :)

When I add an image ,callout, etc. to the canvas area.
I usually have to reposition it a bit , or resize it or edit it. It's rarely exactly where I want it.
If it were locked the moment it was placed. You would have to unlock to do anything with it.

How would you implement an automatic lock so its a seamless experience.
A timer? 3 seconds after editing or placing the media it locks?

Its an interesting concept {:>)
